There are holes on your sliding glass door that conceal the adjusting screws to these rollers. Regular vacuuming of the track will help keep the door sliding smoothly. Remove the outside closet door by first sliding the door to the center of the track. Most sliding glass doors contain two sets of rollers one on each side of the bottom of the door. Use a screwdriver to rotate the adjustment screws located at the base of the door frame on each side. Then angle the door towards you and pull gently detaching the door from its top track.

If you want to merely adjust the height of the wheels you need to turn the screws clockwise. Turning this screw raises or lowers the roller. Give the screw a clockwise turn and test to see whether the door slides easier. Once this is complete repeat the process with the inside closet door.

If the side with the adjusting screw is too high causing it to bind at the top turn the screw counterclockwise. The rollers at the top can also wear down lowering the bottom of the door so that it rubs on the track. Locate the adjustment screws on the lower edges of the door. Do the same on the other door.

To fix it you ll have to work from inside the closet so get a flashlight and screwdrivers. If it s too low use a flat pry bar to raise the door while you turn the adjusting screw clockwise.
