Having custom made hardwood flooring for stairs installed in your home is a procedure that many people find to be cost prohibitive.

Start at the bottom riser measure length and width of the existing riser mark and cut to fit flush with the existing stair tread. If you re going to do that measure the tread size cut the tread and then attach it.
