Adding meeting room in outlook.
The add mailbox window appears where all we have to do is to type in the name of the room that we want to add in the add mailbox text area.
Use this box to type a name for the room mailbox.
Before you configure the view settings you must make sure the microsoft outlook is in the calendar view.
If a room is not scheduled as a resource the meeting request will not be placed on the room resource s calendar auto accept or forwarded to delegates moderated.
This is the name that s listed in the resource mailbox list in the exchange admin center and in your organization s address book.
Repeat steps 3 5 for any other calendars.
On the home tab choose new items meeting.
Type conf and click ok.
Open outlook on your computer.

In outlook 2016 and outlook for microsoft 365 you can start typing a location s name for example fourth coffee shop or conference room 23 and outlook will look for location matches.
Click open a shared calendar.
To create a room mailbox click new room mailbox.
Choose the room that you want to add and click ok.
Once done we press the ok button on all the open windows in order for us to return in our inbox.
Next click the plus icon to create a new meeting room.
You ve now reserved it.
This is the name that will be displayed in your outlook calendar.
You will need to give it a name.
Click on calendars.
Select one of the suggestions to choose that location or continue typing to enter another location.
It is tedious to open a meeting every time for getting the organizer information.
